These terms cover your use of this website and describe how Heisenberg Technologies generally works with clients. The specific terms of any project are set out in the written proposal or agreement for that project, which takes precedence over this page.

Every project begins with a written scope listing deliverables, timeline and cost. Work begins once that scope has been agreed in writing.

Prices shown on this website are starting ranges for planning, not offers. Your project cost is confirmed in its written quote.

Projects are usually billed in milestones: an advance to begin work, and remaining payments tied to agreed deliverables. The schedule for each project is set in its proposal.

Domain registration, hosting, email, payment gateways, paid APIs and other third-party services are billed by their providers and are usually separate from our fees unless the proposal says otherwise.

Reasonable revisions within the agreed scope are included, as set in the proposal. Requests outside the original scope are quoted separately before work on them begins.

Timely feedback and approvals, accurate content, and access to any accounts the project depends on help keep a project on schedule. Delays in these can move agreed timelines.

Once a project is paid in full, ownership of the final deliverables transfers to the client, excluding third-party components used under their own licences. Unless agreed otherwise, we may show completed work in our portfolio.
